House - Motorcycle Trip Reports Canada, 1996 |

I left Islesboro, Maine on Sunday, September 1 on the last ferry off of Islesboro in fear of Labor Day traffic and the incoming hurricane Eduardo. Aside from deciding not to try and join up with friends at the Finger Lakes Rally and several naps at rest stops on I-84, the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike, it was a quick trip that ended at 6:00 am Monday morning. I was too tired to keep records and averaged triple-digit speeds for the last two hours in anticipation of my bed. I wanted to thank all of those who sent me information on Canada, it made all of the difference. Instead of looking for neat places to visit and memorable roads to ride, I had a list of places to go and things to see from both residents and recent travellers.
